Pour, tilt, create

A little bit of mess. A whole lot of fun!

The paint does the work. You guide the direction.

Set up

Cover your work surface and wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on. Set your canvas on a small cup so paint can drip down the sides.

Pour your colors

Pick 2 to 5 colors, darks and lights. Pour them on in layers, swirls or splatters until the canvas is covered in a thick coat.

Tilt

Gently tilt your canvas side to side so your colors stretch and run off the edge. Let it dry flat for 24 hours.

Our story

How we started Fluid Art Kids

Asher and his mom found this woman who does fluid art on Youtube in 2024. He wanted to try it so they tried it. It was a lot more complex than they thought it to be.

They had to do so much work before they could even do one painting. They had to mix the correct amount of paint, glue and water and it was very messy.

But still, even though all those dilemmas were very upsetting and boring to Asher, not to mention the drying time, it was overall a wonderful experience. It was so satisfying to see the paint dripping and drizzling around the canvas.

A couple years later, Asher thought to himself: "how can we make this smaller, less messy and faster?"

After his mom found out about the kids market, he knew what he wanted to do. They wanted to share their love of fluid art with others but make it easier for them to start out than it was for Asher and his family. That's when it hit them, this was the perfect time to make this a business: Fluid Art Kids

Asher's mom and dad helped Asher & his brother, Aiden, bring this idea to life with their design and business knowledge.

And that's how fluid art kids was born.
